Chris Verlander

Chris Verlander is a marketing director at Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) and is responsible for building customer value in support of KPG’s graphic arts solutions. Chris is an advisor to Touchpoint Experience LLC.

Chris has 12 years with GE, where he held leadership positions in commercial and consumer channel marketing, product management, communications, packaging and e-business. His industry experience includes lighting, financial services, hospital equipment, and telecommunications. In addition, Chris has managed consulting assignments in software testing, mapping technologies, hearing protection and roofing materials.

In coming to the US, Chris secured an expatriate assignment to lead marketing communications for GE Equity, where he was responsible for brand positioning, public relations, advertising and sales support. He subsequently received the GE Capital Pinnacle award, given to the top ten percent performers, for his contribution at the business and corporate level. As Director, e-Business, he's worked with online communities, new ventures, company intranets and productivity tools, including a web-based collaboration platform.

Before coming to the US, Chris led consumer channel marketing for GE Lighting Europe working on new account penetration and promotional strategies focused on the major European retailers. Prior, Chris gained extensive experience in the commercial and OEM lighting channels, building programs in sales and distributor support. Chris has championed two GE brand launches.

Chris is a certified Six Sigma green belt, conversant with quality tools and their deployment around process improvement and satisfying customer needs. He has used ‘Voice of Customer' research to drive process improvements in SKU management, packaging and sales promotions.

With over 17 years of international marketing management experience, Chris brings strong supplier management, cross-functional and project management to his assignments. Chris received his B.Sc. in Chemistry and European Studies from Sussex University, UK. He received his post-graduate Marketing Diploma from Crawley College, UK.
